Giveaway Winner

Good evening everyone.  SO I’m about a week late in posting the winner of our giveaway.  I can’t believe not a single person was hunting me down and begging to know who won.  I do apologize.  My grandmother is in poor health and I’ve had a lot on my mind.  She’s currently in the hospital in Missouri (12 hours away from me) and she could use some prayers.  I sure do miss living close to my Granny.  She’s one heck of a lady.

I would like to Congratulate lucky number 87…you are our winner of the Christmas fabrics.

87. Lee Ann L.said… Oh, these are gorgeous fabrics! Thank you for a chance to win

I’ve sent you an email.

I want to share a quick picture of a block I made a couple weeks ago.  It’s a first for me…my first feathered star and my first insanely teeny tiny block.  You can see it measures in at 6.5″.

I really must have been crazy when I made it.  I think there are 129 pieces in this little lady.  The purchase of this particular pattern falls into the “impulse buy” category.  I’m pretty sure I was held at gun point and forced to purchase it.  Thanks Mom!!

I shared a picture of it on facebook and someone asked how big the quilt will be.  After I stopped laughing hysterically, I responded with 6.5″.  This is it.  One block.  I’m not crazy enough to make another one.  Don’t get me wrong.  She’s cute.  Very cute.  I’m just not quite that insane.

Alrighty I think that’s it for tonight.  I’ll be quilting tomorrow and I just might to share some pictures of the progress.

  1. It is very pretty. I’m sorry to hear about your Grandmothers illness. I hope she will be well soon. Thank you for hosting the giveaway. Congratulations to Lee Ann.

  2. Hi Vicky!

I am excited to be a winner! Awesome! I have not received the email you mentioned. I even looked in my spam folder and it is not there either. Could you please resend? dlk3265@gmail.com . If it does not work, I’ll give you my address and other information you need here in the comments and then come back and delete it once you get the information. 🙂

    Thank you!

  3. Fabulous block! I completely get only having one! But it would be beautiful as a block in a sampler quilt – wall-hanging size to show off your amazing piecing skills?! Prayers for your granny (and you)…they are so precious.
