I want to make sure I wish my wonderful mother a very Happy Birthday today! I know it’s late and practically the end of the day but I figure better late than never. I sure do wish I was in Missouri with her on her special day. Happy Birthday Mom! Love ya.
The past couple of days I’ve been working on a few fun things. Some I can share and some are still in the planning stages.
First up, my May block for the Sugar Block Club. I think it turned out pretty good, although I did have a bit of trouble getting my blocks to fit together. I’m not sure what was going on but it’s together. That’s all that counts, right?
I’m digging my striped pieces. I think that’s my favorite part of this block.
Now I know some of you hate little teaser pics but I can’t show the whole block yet. Here’s a look at a test block I worked on today.
Turns out this one needed a few adjusts so it’s a good thing I decided to test it. I can’t wait to share this project with you all. It’s a joint effort with a very special friend.
Speaking of very special friends…I have an awesome friend that I met through the blog. She’s so awesome she sent me a bundle of Art Gallery fabrics that she picked up for me in Portland.

I know I haven’t been very active lately with the blog. I promise to do better. I’ve had lots going on around here and this is the kids last week of school. Now if I could just get both of them healthy again. Hannah is super sick right now just in time for finals, poor kid. I just keep telling her, 3 more days, 3 more days, 3 more days.
